Exciting news! We're thrilled to unveil the latest iteration of our Amazon Pricing Engine (APE), APE 2.0! Over the past few weeks, our dedicated product and engineering teams have been hard at work to bring this upgrade to life. With the insights gained from APE 1.0, we've embarked on a journey to better cater to sellers' unique needs and preferences.
While APE 1.0 introduced an active learning algorithm, we discovered that not all sellers wanted automated retriggering of pricing tests. Some preferred hands-on control, especially during promotions or special events like Prime Day. Recognizing the importance of flexibility, we've completely revamped APE to provide you with more control, and here are some exciting features awaiting you in this new version.
Initiate and halt tests at your convenience
Now, you have the autonomy to start, modify, or terminate your pricing tests whenever you wish. Rest assured, we still offer data checks and sensible default values to keep you confidently in the Buy Box.
Enhanced transparency in pricing decisions
Understanding why a price decision was made is now crystal clear. APE 2.0 provides granular insights into the factors influencing each pricing decision.
More control over parameters
Say goodbye to manual requests for enabling B2B prices. In APE 2.0, you're in the driver's seat. Adjust manual prices, enable/disable was-price, or optimize your inventory effortlessly. Explore custom test groups, a nifty feature for tailoring your pricing strategies to different product categories.
Enhanced dashboards for informed decisions
Our dashboards have received a facelift, providing you with comprehensive insights once a pricing test kicks off. We've also introduced a KPI dashboard (beta) to help you track historical performance.
In-app notifications for key events
Stay updated with our new in-app notifications, ensuring you never miss crucial events within APE. Receive alerts for tasks like insufficient data for your pricing test or when a test begins, and much more.
Revamped pricing plans for simplicity
We've simplified our pricing structure. For sellers with monthly revenue below 100k, our entry fee for APE is now a mere €79 annually (or €89 monthly) for one marketplace. Additional marketplaces can be added for just €19 per month. Plus, managing payments is more convenient with Stripe integration.
Streamlined user experience
A major upgrade lies in the user experience. APE 1.0 was a bit of a hassle, but APE 2.0 offers a seamless, guided journey, from data input to test setup, making your pricing endeavors smoother.
